GENIE Microcontrollers |
GENIE microcontrollers
are small, programmable electronic devices
that allow you to add intelligence to your project designs. They
are included
within the various GENIE Boards and Kits,
but are also available separately to allow those teachers or
students with more expertise to design their
own
printed
circuit boards. |
There are several different types
of GENIE microcontroller, and these are detailed below. For
more information, view the datasheet for each component.

GENIE uses Microchip® microcontrollers
that have been specially pre-programmed with our
firmware. |

Version
2 GENIE microcontrollers
|
|
|
|
New! — an
updated range of GENIE microcontrollers. Replacing the older
(version
1)
microcontrollers,
these new components are faster, more powerful and capable
of storing larger flowchart or BASIC programs.
Note that in order to program these version 2 GENIE microcontrollers,
you will need either Circuit Wizard 3 or
the free GENIE
Programming Editor software. |

GENIE 08 NEW! |
|
The GENIE 08
is an 8-pin programmable component supporting five
separate input/output
pins (at least one of which must be an input and one
an output). |
|
It replaces the older (v1) GENIE C08 microcontroller. |
|
|
|
Special features: |
|
|
• Parallel
processing with 2 starts. |
|
• 26
program variables (A to Z). |
|
• 1
K bytes of program memory. |
|
• 16
bytes of array memory. |
|
• 32
MHz 'turbo' speed mode. |
